Carrowdore
Carrowdore is a small inland village on the Ards Peninsula in County Down between Millisle and Greyabbey. It had a population of 1,052 people in the 2021 Census.
It was once famous for the Carrowdore 100 Motorcycle Road races which were held annually through the centre of the town from 1927 up until 2000.
It now boasts a sizeable Eurospar and Strangford College, one of the first integrated secondary schools in Northern Ireland, which is currently undergoing a major extension.
It provides ease of access to both Newtownards and Bangor and properties in the area remain affordable with new developments currently under construction in the village.
