John Grant
Managing Director

John Grant has lived and worked in the Newtownards and Bangor areas for most of his life and has had successful careers with Halifax Bank, Leeds Building Society and Halifax Estate Agents.
John Grant Mortgage Services opened in Mill Street, Newtownards in February 2002 as independent mortgage and insurance brokers and in March 2005 became John Grant Mortgage and Property Services adding Estate Agency to its list of services.
Having navigated the downturn of 2007 and the Covid-19 lockdowns of 2020/2021 Grant Estate Agents are now firmly established as leading Estate Agents and Mortgage Consultants in the Ards and North Down area and are recognised as professional, enthusiastic and dedicated with a firm focus on the client's needs and a friendly, down to earth approach.

Victoria Alexander has been with John since the company first opened in 2002 and is a key member of staff providing day to day support across all areas of the company's activities.
She currently specialises in mortgage support, administration and new developments.
With a background in Halifax Estate Agents she is more than equipped to assist our Estate Agency clients with any of their property needs
Kerrie Beattie
Sales Negotiator

Kerrie joined the company in 2017 and brings a wealth of experience from local journalism and customer support roles most notably at the Newtownards Chronicle. Visitors to the office will meet Kerrie on the front desk where she is kept busy managing new property listings and negotiating sales on behalf of our vendor clients.
She holds the National Association of Estate Agents technical award in the Sale of Residential Property and has already proven herself to be a valuable and indispensable member of the team at Grant Estate Agents.

Christine comes to the company from another local agent and brings a wealth of customer service expertise to the company.
A key member of the team, she assists with valuations, viewings and all aspects of the day to day business.
Mark Bell
Senior Mortgage & Protection Consultant

Mark joined in early 2010 as a full time mortgage consultant and holds the higher level 4 Diploma in Mortgage Advice and Practice so clients can be assured of his superior knowledge and professionalism in all matters relating to their mortgage and protection needs. He offers advice on mortgages from all lenders and insurers under our NIMortgages brand.
A full initial assessment of our client's needs enables Mark to tailor a personal solution to each individuals circumstances and help make their purchase or remortgage a reality. He can also assist buyers in determining an appropriate budget for their move and provide a Mortgage Agreement in Principle to strengthen their position when property hunting.
